The ingredients reach their effectiveness through the skin and nose.
Essential oils are suitable for skin care, because the skin absorbs them very quickly. If they are ingested, a small part of these active principles passes to the blood from the stomach and the intestine. But the main absorption is carried out at the level of the mucous membranes.
Ingestion of essential oils
Important: Essential oils should only be used internally with therapeutic purposes under medical supervision and with the corresponding prescription.
Naturally, essential oils can also be used as spices to season, such as in culinary use, but since they should be in very diluted quantities, their use is not advisable unless you have a wide knowledge of the topic. On the other hand, essential oils can give a magic touch to many plates. There are many culinary books that specialize in this topic.
