Perfume à la carte
To create your own perfume is something very special - and will also need it’s own "container".
To dose use much care
2) Mix well and check the aroma on your skin. Keep in mind that the aroma still needs "to mature" during some weeks: the different aromas combine with each other, the top note will stop dominating, and you will appreciate the warm and floral tones better - the fragrance becomes harmonic and "complete."
3) If you want to change the aroma: begin with the middle note, continue to increase the top note and at the end, when necessary, reinforce the base note but keep in mind that when the perfume matures it will be quite more intense.
4) Store in dark bottles with the name of the perfume and their composition as well as the elaboration date.
5) Leave the perfumes and colognes to mature for a period of four weeks.
After this time you can put the perfume in bottles that allow you to dose it at will.
To preserve it correctly
Note: If they are maintained in a place that is cool and protected from direct light, the perfumes and colognes are preserved for years.
The commercially produced perfumes usually contain up to more than 100 different aromas. But we don't need to use so many, with three to five aromas we can already create a wonderful small jewel.
Next I will propose to you some examples of how you can compose a perfume (see previous pages). Maybe you would be inspired to create your own fragrances!
My recipes for the vaporizer can also be considered as perfumes, and if you mix it with 10 ml of jojoba oil they provide some very pleasant aromas.
Your personal "line of products"
Would you like to have a "line of products" with your own special aromas? Mix the essential oils with the formula of your perfume, in the same quantity, with 100 ml of jojoba oil or macadamia nut to obtain a body lotion. Make the same thing with 100 ml of a neutral shower gel.
