A foot massage with aromatic oils


To take care of the skin and toenails of the feet we can perfectly well use the cream for the hands described on previous pages.

@ For foot massages: choose the essential oil that you like the most and anoint the whole foot with it. Give a massage on the sole of the foot with both thumbs and work your foot the way it feels pleasant for you. Continue massaging the toes beginning with the little toe. To finish up, rub the arch of the foot in the direction toward the toes.

A simple form of giving a foot massage

There exists other types of massages and you will find them in specialized books.

Excessive sweating of the feet can be controlled with foot baths:

-5 drops of cypress, 3 drops of lavender dilute the oils previously in a spoonful of honey, cream or milk;

@ Dissolve in 4 liters of hot water. Make a foot bath once or twice a day for a period of 5 to 10 minutes. Next, it is necessary to dry off the feet well and put on warm socks. It is important to only use socks with natural fibers. Sport shoes should not be used for a long period of time, because they don't let the feet "breathe" well.
