Essential oils properties

Oil for beginners
At the present about 200 essential oils are marketed. In my private consultation I don't use them all, but yes a very wide repertoire – it would come out very expensive if used for private use. Also, I am constantly discovering new oils with properties that fascinate me. But in this book I have specially prepared an appropriate selection for beginners that want to begin to discover the "realm of aromas."
It is about oils that are polyvalent, inoffensive and ideal for anyone to use them, whenever the dosages are respected that are indicated in each recipe.

All these oils can be used for the most diverse applications – to provide the sensation of well-being, for the care of the body, for the elaboration of perfumes, for the treatment of ailments, and some can also be used as condiments for food.
If you are interested to know the characteristics of more essential oils you can make an extensive study of the theme.

Coniferous and citric oils
The essential oils of the diverse species of firs and pines have some very similar properties, for this reason in recipes some can be substituted by others without any problem. Here I have only mentioned the fragrant of fir.

The citric oils such as lemon, orange, lime, grapefruit and mandarin have very similar properties, but the bergamot oil is a totally different case.
